About The Position
The Certified Assessment and Referral Specialist (CARS) at Abraxas Youth & Family Services is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' substance-use histories and treatment needs. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans, documenting treatment and discharge plans, and providing case coordination and crisis intervention services to clients with substance use disorders. The position requires a thorough understanding of ASAM criteria and previous assessment experience.
