About The Position

Hoplite Group is seeking an Assessment Analyst to support contracted services for the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Public Affairs Directorate (CCPA). This contract will include executing communication strategies and ensuring accurate, timely information to U.S. and regional audiences. It will employ digital tools to monitor, collect, translate, and analyze traditional and social media across CENTCOM’s 21-nation area of responsibility, supporting senior leader decision-making, correcting misinformation, and aiding counter-propaganda efforts. Services will include strategic communication planning, media engagement, crisis response, training, and quality assurance. The Assessment Analyst plays a crucial role in providing Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AME) services, focusing on the analysis of CENTCOM's media, social media interactions, and other related activities to inform and refine communication strategies. By delivering timely, insightful, and contextually informed analyses, the Analyst helps shape both internal and external communications, offering actionable recommendations aimed at maximizing engagement, followership, and overall effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum TS/SCI clearance prior to Contract award. Interim clearances will not be considered acceptable.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in assessment, data analysis, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment methodologies, data collection, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with OSD Policy-issued AM&E guidance, templates, and frameworks.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working with internal and external stakeholders across the DoD and other organizations.
  • Proven ability to present data in clear, actionable formats, providing recommendations for process improvements or program adjustments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis using statistical and qualitative methods to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Use a variety of assessment tools such as surveys, questionnaires, and evaluation protocols to collect valid and reliable data for ongoing assessments of CENTCOM activities.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for assessment plans, ensuring they align with operational goals and accurately measure desired outcomes.
  • Design and implement assessment strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of CENTCOM’s communication efforts, including social media and media interactions.
  • Ensure that assessments are tailored to meet the specific needs of initiatives, ensuring alignment with U.S. strategic guidance and operational goals.
  • Monitor progress of ongoing initiatives and activities, ensuring the collection of accurate data and the tracking of relevant performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with program managers, decision-makers, and other stakeholders to present findings, offer feedback, and implement improvements based on assessment results.
  • Maintain effective relationships with broader DoD entities and organizations to facilitate communication and data exchange across stakeholders.
  • Assist stakeholders in understanding the outcomes of evaluations, and help implement recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide detailed assessments of the CENTCOM Area of Operations (AOR) and specific topic areas such as CENTCOM-related exercises, military operations, senior leader travel, and other relevant activities, for CCPA leadership.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback based on assessment results, including actionable recommendations for improvement or adjustments.
  • Support CCPA leadership in decision-making by presenting insights that inform strategic communication efforts.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of CENTCOM communication strategies and provide regular updates on trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive reports that summarize findings, including areas for improvement and suggestions for enhancing engagement and effectiveness.

  • assess potential risks and opportunities based on the information gathered, helping the organization tomake informed decisions and mitigate potential threats.
  • collaborate with other Specialists or departments within the organization to share insights and coordinate responses to emerging issues.
  • stay updated on tools and technologies used for information gathering and analysis, suchas data mining software, social media monitoring tools, and analytical platforms.
  • engage with external stakeholders to exchange information, collaborate on analysis efforts, and build partnerships for mutual benefit.
  • ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards governing the collection and use ofpublicly and commercially available information, including privacy laws and intellectual property rights.
  • provide training to colleagues on effective methods for gathering and analyzing publicly and commercially available information or contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
  • During crisis situations or emergencies, provide real-time updates and analysis to support decision-making and response efforts.
  • ensure the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of the information analyzed, employing rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of data integrity.
