About The Position
The Assembly role supports the production of industrial heat exchangers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Assembly position focuses on tube lacing and component alignment within heat exchanger units while working as part of a collaborative production team. The Assembly technician must be detail-oriented and comfortable with hands-on mechanical work.
Requirements
- Prior mechanical or industrial assembly experience preferred
- Experience with tube lacing or tube bundle environments is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lace and align tubes within heat exchanger bundles to specification
- Support heat exchanger Assembly processes including structural components
- Use hand and shop tools to assist with lacing and unit assembly
- Perform quality checks to ensure tube spacing and placement meet standards
- Follow daily production schedules and complete assigned tasks on time
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
