About The Position

Job Description: Responsibilities Build and assemble conveyors, hoppers etc. from blueprints and parts books. Installs belts, gear boxes, motors etc. onto metal structures Prepare the conveyor to be shipped out to the customer, by loading and securing the load Supervision: Minimal supervision is required Job Requirements: A. Education & Training High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of Assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting is preferred Technical Requirements Must be mechanically inclined Effectively operate an overhead crane Ability to determine how to load a truck Must be able to use hand tools and air tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to read a tape measure Self-motivated, self-starter with a can do attitude C. Physical Requirements Performs climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting; holds and grips objects; exerts in excess of 100lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20lbs of force constantly to move objects. Subject to prolonged periods of walking and standing. Subject to repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Working Conditions This position is subject to working both indoors and outdoors, subject to extreme cold and heat due to the weather, subject to noise and subject to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation that could affect the respiratory system of the skin, is also subject to oils. The position is also required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
