This important team member partners with others to manufacture Roll-Rite systems according to company processes. The Manufacturing Assembly associate performs basic wiring and assembles components.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using fractions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Processing parts.
  • Perform saw, mill, or drill press operations.
  • Read a tape measure, use hand tools and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment.
  • Must be able to read manufacturing prints.
  • Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
  • Assemble parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Routine daily equipment maintenance.
  • Confirm quality of product.
  • Prepare product for shipment.
  • Maintain product workspace.
  • Ability to cross train in other areas and departments.
  • Follows all safety guidelines and wears proper personal protective equipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
