Requirements

• Proven welding experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks in various positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited welding program, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
• Welding certification(s) preferred (AWS or equivalent).
• Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, or arc welding to assemble and repair metal components.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
• Cut, shape, and fit metal parts as required.
• Maintain welding safety standards by wearing protective gear and ensuring a clean, hazard-free workstation.
• Perform minor maintenance on welding machines and equipment.
• Contribute to team efforts by assisting with related tasks as needed.
