About The Position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position): Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. For assigned area and products: Ability to identify part geometry to establish location surfaces and work holding needs. Follow prescribed quality procedures including identifying all dimensions established at the assembly operation insuring part conformity both dimensionally, functionally, and aesthetically. Follow prescribed safety procedures. Lead workplace organization effort including fixture numbering and locations. Fabricate and assemble Instruments through the use of TIG, Micro TIG, and Laser welders according to customer or employer specifications.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous machining required.
• Previous TIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gage, and optical comparator with digital read out.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours per day.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
