Under the supervision of the Assembly Supervisor and additional input from the Plant Manager, the Assembly Trainer is responsible for training new Assembly employees. Utilizing both the Assembly training cell as well as assembly lines, train new employees how to properly use assembly hand tools, follow process and procedures to comply with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. This training will emphasize following procedures, training with enough depth to switch between assembly lines and have employees know when to raise concerns to prevent quality defects. When there are no active training sessions, the Assembly Trainer will lead the rework and repair (approximately 50%) of medical assemblies and components to restore them to specifications. If capacity allows, the employee will support production of electromechanical assemblies in the Controlled Environment Room (CER).
