About The Position

As an Assembly Technician at Cirris, you’ll help build the electrical cable and wire harness test equipment used by customers around the world. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role where attention to detail, willingness to learn, and teamwork are key. What You’ll Do You’ll assemble electrical and mechanical components by following clear work instructions and drawings. Daily tasks may include basic wiring, soldering, crimping, and mechanical assembly using hand tools. You’ll inspect your work for quality, document your progress, and work closely with teammates to keep production running smoothly. Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and basic electrical safety.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
  • 1–3 years of experience in assembly, preferably in electronics or instrumentation manufacturing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assembling electrical testing equipment or similar precision devices.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S workplace organization.
  • Technical training or certification preferred
  • IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610 or IPC/WHMA-A-620)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Perform tasks such as wiring, soldering, crimping, and mechanical fastening.
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly challenges.
  • Support inventory control by tracking parts usage and reporting shortages.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
