The Assembly Technician assembles, wires, fits, and modifies components used in the manufacture of medium and high‑voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies, including breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, power modules, customer service orders, and related sub‑assemblies. Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, established procedures, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or engineering; read and interpret mechanical drawings as required. Mount and install electrical and mechanical equipment, including mimic bus, painting floors, covers, and related components as needed. Receive, pick, label, pack, and prepare materials and assemblies for shipment. Operate forklifts and/or cranes as required.Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report material shortages to appropriate personnel. Inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and overall cleanliness. Respond to engineering change notices, customer-requested modifications, and product development needs.
