In the Assembly Technician role, you assemble, wire, fit, and modify work in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these. Work from manufacturing documentation, including electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, established procedures, and written or verbal instructions from supervision or engineering. Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as required. Lift, handle, and assemble heavy copper components while following safe work practices. Complete ISO documentation, quality and customer checklists, feedback forms, and production records accurately and on time. Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report material shortages to appropriate personnel. Inspect assemblies to ensure proper hardware installation, completeness, and cleanliness. Respond to engineering change notices, customer-requested modifications, and development needs. Support engineering, drafting, and supervisory teams with development initiatives and train or coach colleagues to promote knowledge transfer.
