About The Position

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of Manager, MedEx Operations, the Build Technician’s main responsibility is to assemble finished goods electronic components for installation in customer facilities. Secondary responsibility is testing and configuration of built components and assisting in inventory management. Additionally, will be utilized for filling and shipping internal and customer orders. Job Responsibilities: Build finished good products from multiple components Test finished good to validate they are in proper working condition Configure finished goods per customer specifications Troubleshoot returned finished goods for refurbishment Work with third party suppliers for outsourcing of work Pack items for outbound shipment Validate inbound shipments Coordinate with Installation team members to insure outbound shipments are complete and accurate. Assist Implementation and Support Team members as needed to expedite resolution of critical hardware issues. Requirements

  • 3 years of work-related experience in one of the following areas: computer technology, computer equipment repair, electrical appliance build, AND/OR, Associate's degree (AA/AS) OR equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to assemble and maintain electrical component equipment
  • Ability to analyze hardware and software issues to produce valid conclusions, recommendations, and course of action.
  • Ability to provide documentation as required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks requiring extensive follow-up and timely completion of assigned work.
  • Meet or exceed pre-defined Service Level Agreements to achieve excellent customer satisfaction ratings
  • Must be articulate and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and extremely well organized
  • Comfortable working under consistent deadline pressure
  • Cooperative in maintaining working relationships with those contacted in performance of duties
  • Must accomplish projects with little supervision
  • Familiarity with iOS and Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
