About The Position
Position Overview: This position ensures proper fittings and attachment to hose in line with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for all computer input required for the position. Obtaining correct hose and hose length for customer order. Hydrostatically testing hose when required. Cutting, skiving and crimping hose and inspection. Hydrostatically testing hose to proof pressure when required. Capping hose ends and delivering to Shipping Dept. Packing and shipping inventory. Receiving inventory properly and putting away. Must be familiar with, and follow, all standard operating procedures and guidelines. Knowledge of how and where to locate procedures and forms relevant to this position.
Requirements
- Must meet the Qualified Job Rate in training determined by Department Supervisor.
- Indoctrination and NRP’s Quality Manual and specified requirements regarding job responsibilities.
- Operate a saw, crimper and skiver machines.
- Knowledge of Crimping Spec and how to crimp hose properly.
- Operate hydrostatic testing equipment.
- Strong literacy and comprehension skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of company indoctrination.
- Successful completion of safety training programs.
- Understanding of the company’s Quality System and processes.
