The Assembler is the heart of the manufacturing process, adding value to each vehicle and making sure all details are perfect to bring the Best EV Commercial Vehicle to Commerce. Working a 4 day, 10 hours per day work schedule allows for ample work life balance. An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of Work Instructions or Visual Aides. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce vehicles to the correct product specification. Showing up on time. Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms. Review quality of parts and materials used in production. Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process. Follow company procedures and directives. Test finished products for defects. Maintain the tools used to create products. Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace. Learn and use Lean Practices. Be an active part or the Team. Raise your Hand with Safety and Quality issues. Be flexible to Job Rotation and Assignments.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills
  • Physical fitness and agility to handle parts and tools
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to operate hand tools, Adhesive guns, and DC torque tools
  • Ability to create and interpret technical documentation, WI, SWC
  • Basic computer skills such as record keeping, using a touchscreen, Barcode Scanning, and form completion
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Team lifting is required for objects over 50 pounds
  • Workplace Safety requirements
  • Safety shoes/steel toe
  • Approved safety glasses in shop
