About The Position

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, and inspecting aircraft components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications, technical drawings, and quality standards. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, performance, and compliance of our aerospace products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data. Therefore, candidates will need to qualify as a US Person, which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
  • Due to the requirements of the Customer, No Visa sponsorship is available

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hand tools is preferred
  • Some manufacturing experience preferred
  • Some experience with small engine repair is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Read basic blueprints, technical manuals, and work instructions to perform basic mechanical assembly operations.
  • Obtain kitted (pre-picked) detail parts, standards, and assemblies.
  • Perform heat and freeze processes to install tight-tolerance components
  • Use solvents to clean surfaces before sealing or assembly
  • Apply sealant, Alodine, primer, special finishes, as required
  • Assemble simple aerospace components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Learn standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Follow instructions and perform visual inspections.
  • Assist senior Assembly Technician(s).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles and company safety policies.
