About the position
The Assembly Technician position at Aerotek involves working in a fast-paced, Lean manufacturing environment to build high-quality, custom-engineered industrial control panels. The role requires collaboration within a dynamic team and serves various industries, including packaging, pharmaceutical, and water/wastewater plants.
Responsibilities
- Wire control panels on a daily basis using blueprints and ladder diagrams.
- Gather necessary wires and supplies for each project.
- Complete panels with the required amount of supplies according to specific wiring and assembly instructions.
- Assist in the fabrication of electrical cabinets.
- Use various hand tools and power tools for assembly and installation tasks.
- Verify that all pieces fit according to the provided diagrams and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and ladder diagrams.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow specific wiring and assembly instructions.
- Attention to detail and precision in wiring and assembly tasks.
Nice-to-haves
- Ranken, ITT Electrical/Electronic Associates Degree preferred.
- Control Panel wiring experience preferred.
- Open to entry-level candidates with relevant knowledge from school.
