As our Assembly Technician TEMP - you will report to the Production Supervisor. On a given day, you may execute the mechanical assembly of manufactured beverage process equipment, utilize project specification sheets to maintain an awareness and understanding of the prescribed mechanical specifications for each unit, learn the progressive order of the assembly process, from step 1 through completion, and visually inspect workmanship throughout the assembly process to ensure quality craftsmanship.

  • Execute the mechanical assembly of manufactured beverage process equipment
  • Utilize project specification sheets to maintain an awareness and understanding of the prescribed mechanical specifications for each unit
  • Learn the progressive order of the assembly process, from step 1 through completion
  • Willingness to be trained in any craft/trade skills necessary to effectively execute the assembly process
  • Visually inspect workmanship throughout the assembly process to ensure quality craftsmanship
  • Maintain harmonious and team oriented mindset
  • Complete safety programs within JBT expectations (BBSO's, Near Misses, etc.) to include exceeding goals
  • Use in-house mechanical equipment such as forklift, overhead cranes, and hoists
  • Perform all work following quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Perform all tasks with required safety equipment and comply with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Knowledge of functionality of pneumatic and electrical controlled valves, solenoids, sensors and transmitters, preferred
  • Experience in mechanical assembly and routing/bending instrument supply hard tubing, preferred
  • Experience in the use of mechanical hand tools, construction power tools and metal working tools, preferred
  • Detail oriented and organized
