About The Position

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Melbourne, FL. The position involves repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations, including mechanical and/or electronic assemblies and subassemblies of modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Candidates will follow diagrams, drawings, blueprint lines, and index points, design initial layouts, and use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, saws, and fixtures. Quality inspections on processing lines must be conducted in accordance with quality specifications. The role also includes disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Candidates will follow approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, including FAA-approved internal procedures, OEMs, and technical data, and perform serviceability tests as required. Work package documentation must be completed as required by FAA and/or repair station manual, and completed work must be submitted to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with hydraulics in the aviation or aerospace industries.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations.
  • Assemble mechanical and/or electronic assemblies and subassemblies of modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Follow diagrams, drawings, blueprint lines, and index points.
  • Design initial layouts.
  • Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, saws, and fixtures.
  • Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.
  • Follow approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures.
  • Perform serviceability tests as required.
  • Complete work package documentation as required by FAA and/or repair station manual.
  • Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness.
  • Inspect completed work to identify any needed rework before signing off.
