About The Position
Zenni Optical, the world's leading online eyewear retailer, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in Obetz, OH. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new, clean, and climate-controlled facility. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in our mission to make prescription eyewear affordable and accessible to everyone. The position requires light physical labor, including handling frames and lenses for glasses, and working collaboratively with a fantastic team to help customers purchase more affordable eyewear. The shift hours for this role are Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a competitive pay rate of $17 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. As part of our team, you will be responsible for essential tasks such as picking and unpacking lenses and frames for customer orders, running inter-department errands, prepping and loading lenses into machines, and beginner-level mounting of lenses into frames. You will also be expected to maintain good housekeeping practices, adhere to health and safety protocols, and ensure that daily and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
