About The Position

The Assembler is responsible for basic, manual tasks related to building (assembling) industrial HVAC units.

Requirements

• Experience in Construction or HVAC fields.
• Experience with using hand tools, blueprints, and constructing/building a unit to specs.
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and work specifications.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
• All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.

Responsibilities

• Building basic subassemblies and install insulation using hand tools (wrenches, hammers, pliers and drills).
• Installing high-temp padding (cut with retractable knife and/or using a simple spot welder).
• Assisting in installation of components for the unit (fans, shafts, dampers, etc.).
• After training, this position will build smaller HVAC units.
• Operating forklifts and overhead crane equipment.
• Building/constructing a steel box in which mechanical subassemblies will be installed in.
