About The Position

Welcome to the world of land-based gaming. At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe. The Assembler focus specializes in the assembly of a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical or measurement products or product components. Determines and follows methods and sequence of operations of different steps involved in the assembly. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
  • Proficiency in schematics, technical drawings, and test equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in broadcast engineering, video production, or digital media tech.
  • Proficiency in editing software, media asset management systems, and streaming platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AV systems, encoding, and file formats.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of emerging media technologies and trends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead testing operations for electronic or mechanical products during production.
  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test equipment and product failures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product quality.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee technical infrastructure for media production, including audio, video, and digital platforms.
  • Manage media workflows, ensuring smooth operation from capture to distribution.
  • Coordinate with creative teams to support production needs.
  • Maintain and upgrade equipment, software, and network systems.
  • Ensure compliance with broadcast standards and digital media regulations.
