Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is to assemble and disassemble parts and subassemblies, conduct inspections, and perform maintenance and repairs as needed. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and disassemble parts and subassemblies following schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Conduct thorough inspections to check for defects and ensure assembled products meet specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to maintain production quality. Utilize a range of hand tools, power tools, and machinery effectively to complete assembly tasks. Position and align components manually or using hoists to facilitate accurate assembly. Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards. Prepare for assembly work by studying parts lists and gathering necessary tools and materials. Verify specifications by measuring completed components and making adjustments as needed. Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and addressing any malfunctions. Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently. Document production and quality actions by completing necessary forms and reports.
