Requirements

  • Must have knowledge in rigging and crane safety
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Mig and Oxy-Fuel torch
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
  • Must have a positive and professional attitude
  • Available to work weekends and overtime
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and the proper PPE is in place
  • Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and procedures
  • Use hand and power tools and torches for disassembly and reassembly of components
  • Use mics, dial indicators, feeler gauges and other precision measuring devices
  • Tack weld assemblies and measure to ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Final weld parts in all postures and positions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they occur
