The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing, directing, and overseeing the daily production activities of the Assembly Department. These activities include, but are not limited to, component assembly, thread insert and captive hardware installation, pressure testing, and inspection. Further responsibilities include: Overseeing product quality and adherence to company and customer standards Recognizing and rectifying production and process deficiencies Ensuring that safety protocol and precautions are followed Training operators Assisting in the development and setup of new assembly lines/processes Setting up machines, equipment, installation tools, etc. Communicating and planning across departments and shifts Hands-on problem solving in an array of areas Managing associates’ time and attendance according to company policies. Conducting associate performance reviews, identifying performance gaps, and creating development plans.
