Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plus
  • Technical background in manufacturing or assembly facility
  • Proficient computer skills with ERP and Microsoft Office
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and be date driven
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on approach to accomplishing work
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing

Responsibilities

  • Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; monitoring personnel and resources; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
  • Execute the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing organization standards
  • Communicate expectations; monitor and appraise job results
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce assembly procedures
  • Provide manufacturing information by answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources
  • Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Resolve problems by investigating issues, identifying, and implementing solutions
  • Support all key initiatives as defined by the Safety Committee
  • Maintains quality standard by orienting, and training employees
  • Support professional growth opportunities for direct reports
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by the Production Manager
