Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plus
Technical background in manufacturing or assembly facility
Proficient computer skills with ERP and Microsoft Office
Possess a strong sense of urgency and be date driven
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Hands-on approach to accomplishing work
Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing

Responsibilities

Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; monitoring personnel and resources; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
Execute the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results
Maintain quality service by enforcing organization standards
Communicate expectations; monitor and appraise job results
Coach, counsel, and discipline employees
Initiate, coordinate and enforce assembly procedures
Provide manufacturing information by answering questions and responding to requests.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources
Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures
Resolve problems by investigating issues, identifying, and implementing solutions
Support all key initiatives as defined by the Safety Committee
Maintains quality standard by orienting, and training employees
Support professional growth opportunities for direct reports
Assist with other projects as assigned by the Production Manager
