About The Position

Joining Collins Aerospace isn't just about finding a job; it's about embarking on a journey to redefine the future of aerospace technology. In this role, you will assemble and repair a variety of electronic units using prescribed repair techniques, identify correct parts, components, wires, and materials needed for assembly and repair, and solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools. You will also be responsible for removing suspect and failed components, installing new components accurately, operating assembly machines, and ensuring proper functioning. Additionally, you will measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives according to safety and operational guidelines, read and interpret technical data, communicate work status to team members, document work clearly, and utilize computer skills and office software applications. This position is for the 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 - 12:00 am, with a training schedule of Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm for approximately 60 days.
