About The Position

•             Maintain a safe and clean work area •             Able to clean and detail / rig all types of units •             Proficiently complete all production and quality documentation Example: (Inspection records, time studies) •             Maintain acceptable production rates within the skill level and product type •             Must make sure that all the appropriate decals are straight and in the correct location and that jobs of multiple units all look identical •             Must have the skill set to install accessories such as but not limited to: (heaters, LWCO, basin hubs, thermostats, control panels) •             Contribute to Lean and 5s Implemented in your areas. •             Must be a self-starter that can work without supervision.   Position Challenges & Latitude: •             Demonstrate superior service skill(s) and professionalism in day-to-day dealings with coworkers, setting a good example in attendance and work ethics. •             Willingness to learn •             Continually demonstrates good attendance practices, minimizing unplanned absences •             Ensures adherence to company policies and work rules, as well as ensuring a safe work environment is maintained •             Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude •             Strive to continually improve quality, safety, organization, cleanliness and productivity within your department. •             Able to understand and follow all MAP’s, PAP’s, CRN, B31.5, ASME, TMI’s, TPI’s, and SOP’s that pertain to the product •             Safe operation of all overhead lifting cranes and jib booms •             Assist in other areas of the shop when required   Job Qualifications: •             Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions) •             Read a tape measure to within 1/16” •             Must be proficient at using all hand tools associated with assembling •             High School diploma or GED equivalent •             Good communication skills, both written and verbal •             Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process •             Able to trouble shoot and solve problems related to the process •             Must be able operate all overhead cranes / jib booms.   Physical Requirements: •             Manufacturing environment •             Continuous standing, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday •             Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. •             Wear PPE when required – Manufacturing Areas •             Climb and work off of ladders •             Shift work, evenings, Monday through Friday and some Saturday’s.
