This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets.   • Oversee plant production and spearhead employee training and development.
  • Implement lean manufacturing initiatives and standardized procedures.
  • Drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a solid safety culture within the plant to achieve an accident-free work environment.
  • Accountable for all manufacturing activities and personnel to achieve production output.
  • Minimize downtime, improve OEE, and drive ongoing improvement.
  • Develop and engage with all employees to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Participate in process/equipment/automation improvements and capital expenditure planning.
  • Manage department expense budgets and participate in business planning.
  • Reduce scrap, improve Direct Productivity, and standardize operations.
  • Establish and maintain policies/procedures in adherence with IATF 16949/ISO9001.
  • Bachelor's degree in operations management or equivalent experience in a high performing manufacturing organization.
  • 5-8 years of progressive functional/leadership experience in manufacturing/production management roles.
  • Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Lean / six sigma background preferred (PDCA, DMAIC, A3, 8D, SIPOC).
  • Strong leadership experience with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and people.
  • Knowledge of and experience using TPM and autonomous maintenance methodologies.
  • Thorough working knowledge of MES, MRP/ERP, QMS and data analytic tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, Visio, Teams, and PPT.
  • Knowledgeable of forecasting and budgeting.
  • Well organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks.
