About The Position

Newbold Services (formerly Peak Workforce Solutions) is hiring GREAT people for Manufacturing Positions for our client located in York, SC
Compensation:
This position offers competitive pay $17.00 per hour (OT is available!)

Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months of experience
• Be highly productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a great work ethic. Quality is a must.
• Be respectful and a strong team player.
• Be able to work independently, as needed.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 25-45lbs.
• Be able to work overtime as required.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred but NOT REQUIRED
• We will train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs
• Heavy lifting
