As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.  Job Posting External Job Duties Assemble large weldments and sub-assemblies into power pallet lift trucks.  Assemble various lift truck components into sub-assemblies Operate tools to assemble, fit and adjust components per specifications. Follow work instructions to ensure parts are assembled to production specifications. Move fixtures, materials and lift trucks using hoist, manipulator, bridge crane, tugger, assembly cart, overhead guard carts. Communicate with Group Leader as necessary. Maintain quality of product. Complete daily hoist pre-operational safety checks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Use computer and printer to print capacity/data labels for lift trucks per work instructions, prints, D-Sheets, and/or production order specifications. Train operators as required. Handle materials with and without lift trucks. Comply with all applicable standards and Crown’s safety rules and regulations for each task performed. Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be able to able to read, and understand production work orders, assembly drawings, bill of materials and wiring diagrams.
  • Must be able to listen, communicate, understand verbal and written instructions, and conduct in teamwork.
  • Must be able to demonstrate mechanical abilities and aptitude.
  • Must be able to remember, reason and analyze

Nice To Haves

  • Related work experience preferred.
