About The Position

AIT Home Delivery offers the ultimate level of customer care for the final delivery, assembly and/or repair of consumer goods. Our dedicated teams of contractors provide fast and reliable home services for many high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers. We are looking for contractors to build indoor and outdoor products, which involves arriving at customer homes to assemble products such as grills, patio sets, ready-to-assemble furniture, resin sheds, and similar products. The product handled can be seasonal, and contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to go to and from order locations.
• Ownership of hand and power tools with experience and mechanical aptitude to build products.
• Possession of an EIN (federal tax ID).
• Compliance with insurance and vehicle registrations.
• DOT/MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Compliance with state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work.
• Background and drug screens are performed on all contractors including helpers.
• MVR checks are performed for all driving contractors.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Tech-savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at customer homes to assemble products such as grills, patio sets, ready-to-assemble furniture, and resin sheds.
• Build indoor and outdoor products according to manufacturer specifications.
• Select product types for assembly based on personal preference and seasonal availability.
