About The Position

Solenoid Solutions Inc. (SSI) is a growing manufacturer of custom designed electrically activated valves that is locally owned/operated and participating in a worldwide market. Solenoid Solutions, Inc. is seeking individuals with a strong work ethic to be part of our manufacturing team. We have opportunities for Full and Part-Time 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, Temp-To-Hire. Pay rate is $14 per hour. We offer shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts and flexible hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required and/or Equivalent Experience
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Minimum computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Reading comprehension and good listening skills
• Ability to fill out required forms and reports
• Basic math skills
• Pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Setting up assembly lines
• Producing high quality parts
• Meeting annually established efficiency goals
• Meeting annually established machine utilization goals
• Meeting annually established scrap goals
• Measuring parts
• Understanding equipment start-up, run, adjustment, and shut-down procedures
