About The Position

The Assembly Operator position at PeopleReady involves assembling and checking product parts, assisting in shipments, and ensuring that manufactured products meet quality standards. This role is essential for maintaining production efficiency and product integrity in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 30+ lbs from floor to table or table to floor.
• Ability to withstand repetitive bending from the waist to approximately 12 inches from the floor.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand motions including squeezing and gripping up to 200 times per hour.
• Ability to sit or stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Good vision required for visual inspection of parts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and check product parts according to production documents.
• Visually inspect manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Package finished products for shipment.
• Operate assigned machines under supervision.
• Relieve other press operators during breaks if not operating a machine.
• Notify material handlers when a hopper is low.
• Perform secondary operations at the press as needed.
• Grind spurs when assigned to a press.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
