About The Position

Catalyx is seeking a number of Assembly Operators to join our team and work on our customer site in Asheville, North Carolina. Please note full drug panel, criminal check and education verification will be carried out as part of the screening process. Also these roles are for an initial three month period only however they are also an incredible opportunity for individuals without prior pharma experience to get a foothold in the industry. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Power tool experience (required)
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and recognize part numbers and color codes.
  • Team-oriented mindset, commitment to safety and willingness to learn.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or lab settings is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assemble product components and sub-assemblies for laboratory equipment and medical devices.
  • Read and follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and wiring schematics.
  • Use hand and power tools such as drills, rivet guns, and presses.
  • Perform quality checks and testing to ensure every unit meets our high standards.
  • Record data in our SAP system for production tracking and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
