Assembly Operator
About The Position
Assembly Operator I position is responsible for the assembly of all cabinet components and putting it together with a staple gun to build a cabinet. This position will report directly to the Supervisor for the departments listed above. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Main job function will be the assembling of cabinets, utilizing equipment such as glue gun, nail gun and clamp machines. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually. Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances. Responsible for removing components from conveyor to assembly table/area to install the components together to build a cabinet. Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. Help production workers by supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. Will perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.
