We are seeking an Assembly Operator on 2nd Shift to join our team at Wesanco in Smyrna TN! Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am Job Summary: Performs repetitive and standardized assembly operations using assembly tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Good dexterity to handle small parts
- Accuracy and attention to detail is required
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. on regular basis
- Ability to remain in standing position more than 95% of working hours.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of related assembly experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs repetitive and standardized assembly operations using assembly tools.
- Checks quality of parts visually and by the use of calipers as required by work order.
- Records production parts produced on appropriate production card.
- Reports any problems to the Production Team Lead.
