Job Summary Operate a variety of machines to produce standard quality as indicated by job cards. Inspect throughout process and pack product in standard containers with proper labeling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
• The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop/bend, reach/stretch, climb, use hands and arms to lift objects and /or materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• The employee may be required to occasionally push materials or product that weigh up to 40 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The employee is required to wear appropriate safety protective equipment at the proper times and in the proper environments as required by safety program rules.

Responsibilities

• Receive operating instructions from supervisor and understand job cards to produce product in amount needed using automated machinery.
• Recognize and remove defective product.
• Use measuring devices for quality assurance.
• Work at each process using job card system.
• Ensure correct packing and labeling of product.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform other work as required by supervisor.
