About The Position

As an Assembly Operator at IDEXX, you will directly contribute to producing innovative diagnostic products that improve the lives of people and animals worldwide. You will read, evaluate, and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and relevant standards that are essential to a successful production process. Requirements

  • A strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and maintain high quality standards.
  • A driven, motivated, and ambitious approach to your work—with a desire to grow, learn, and take on new challenges.
  • Willingness to learn about IDEXX manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry standards.
  • Strong communication skills that foster teamwork and trust.
  • Respect for diverse perspectives and a commitment to positive team dynamics.
  • A High School diploma (or equivalent), or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of automated and semi‑automated manufacturing machines, including setup, operation, changeover, cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards with precision and consistency.
  • Work as part of an engaged team that supports one another and contributes to optimizing production processes.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates and leadership, openly sharing information, asking questions, and offering ideas for improvement.
  • Uphold an inclusive and respectful environment that values differences in backgrounds, perspectives, and approaches.
  • Demonstrate a driven and ambitious mindset, constantly looking for ways to improve processes, skills, and performance.
  • Based on your performance, have opportunities to train other team members and expand your responsibilities.
