About The Position

The position involves operating assembly equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). The role requires adherence to quality checks and documentation processes to maintain production standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates all assembly equipment and machinery in a correct and safe manner at the required rate
• Follows the cell qualification process to achieve sign-off as qualified associate
• Line feeds as required
• Ensure that parts and components are assembled in accordance with SOP
• Perform all required quality checks
• Completes all relevant documentation (i.e. VE logs, 1st Piece Check, Reference Number log, scrap log, rework log, etc.)
• Performs all changeover operations on all machines correctly
• Perform first piece inspection
• Separates, tags and places all scrap/rework parts in designated area
• Ensure all housekeeping duties have been performed
• Perform any rework required and completes all necessary documentation
• Perform any other duties as specified
