About The Position

As an Assembler at Korry Electronics, you will build electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and components for use in the aerospace industry. This role involves providing support and following direction from Supervisor/Manager, Team Lead, Engineering Aides, and Inspection personnel. You will have direct contact with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, Calibration, and Supervision. The position is focused on assembling components and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications, while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years' experience working in electronics production and assembly
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed processing sheets; able to read and follow basic blueprints and drawings
  • Must have a keen attention to detail
  • Must have basic ability to operate a computer
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and effectively communicate
  • Participates in problem solving teams to develop process improvements
  • Willing to work extra hours, and potentially weekends

Responsibilities

  • Assembles component and/or subassemblies in conformance to drawing, time and quality standards with limited supervision
  • Works from and has a general knowledge of Engineering drawings and specifications, standard work instructions, quality standards, test procedures, and assembly instructions
  • Adhere to all Safety and Quality Procedures
  • Adhere to lot traceability and general inventory practices
  • Cross-train on multiple products and/or between production lines
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Operate hand tools and shop equipment
  • Understand and live by Korry's culture
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned
