Requirements

• Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Be mechanically inclined.
• Have great attention for detail.
• Prior mechanical assembly experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complete units or sub-assemblies of pumps, including bolting, pinning, and screwing of machined parts.
• Prepare work order forms on customer returned pumps or other pumps and pump power units and list parts that need to be replaced with time estimates required for repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of customers defective or discontinued pumps along with power units and accessories.
• Dismantle, repair, or replace defective parts as required.
• Work from blueprints, method cards, wiring diagrams, parts list and verbal instructions to assemble and repair pumps and accessories.
• Perform all testing of completed units.
