For more information, visit vigor.net.   HOURLY RATE: $44.46   POSITION SUMMARY: We are currently seeking qualified assembly mechanics to join our team of highly dedicated staff.  Desirable backgrounds include mechanics and millwrights with experience in marine repair, maintenance, or new construction applications or in manufacturing, maintenance, or repair industries such as industrial machinery, automotive, aerospace, farm equipment, or other industries requiring high degrees of mechanical aptitude and competence in integrated systems assembly.  We offer competitive wages and excellent benefits.

Requirements

  • Must have own set of tools
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Capable of carefully following engineering drawings and procedures to perform equipment installations
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Minimum of 2/3 years' experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
  • Prospective employees must pass a drug and alcohol test and background check as pre-employment screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Hydraulics and piping experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with machining is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Duties include installation of integrated system components including engines, drives, HVAC systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, fire suppression, and others.
