About The Position

As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing various components and systems in our Integrated Supply Chain in Torrance, CA. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations. You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location at this onsite role. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of prior experience in mechanical assembly or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test components and systems according to specifications and work instructions
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet the required standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
