About The Position

As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in our operations. You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an Onsite work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our production processes, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical assembly and maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics for assembly and repairs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
  • FAA REQUIREMENTS All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install mechanical components and systems according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
