Requirements

Degreed Manufacturing Engineer with knowledge of assembly manufacturing concepts
5+ years of engineering experience, including Assembly work-related experience
Knowledge with tools such as: Spinfire, AutoCAD, Minitab, ProModel, Pro/E, and MS Office
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently and manage one’s time

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving Assembly processes and systems, driving Zero defects across Assembly area
Provide application, procurement, processing, installation, and capability of new Assembly processes and equipment to safely and efficiently build transmission/torque converters as assigned
Develop and maintain Standard work – Capp+/MESA, SAP (VPPA), PINPOINT and SFMEA’s
Manage BOM/MBM system grief within Capp+ to ensure system alignment and requirements for Local controls
Manage line requirements for PFMEA’s/Control plans, implement engineering changes, maintain PINPOINT/DC torque tooling processes, manage NPI/CPI programs, and continually work with Assembly/EHS team in reducing risk within Assembly areas
