Requirements

Experience developing and deploying operator work instructions
Experience with process development, tooling design, fixture, and workstation layout
Experience with bill of materials (BOM) structure, build papers, and ECN process execution
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology discipline or equivalent related work experience

Nice To Haves

Experience with John Deere–specific manufacturing software, including: JDAAT (John Deere Assembly Assist Tool) and MPP (Manufacturing Process Planner)
Experience implementing changes in a production environment through negotiation and conflict resolution
Experience with SAP, PDM, Creo, and AutoCAD
Experience with line design, DLBT, time studies, line balancing, and cost/pay structure
Capital project experience

Responsibilities

Drive improvement projects that positively impact Safety, Quality, Cost, and Efficiency, with strong Natural Work Group and operator engagement
Support the implementation of new products and manage ECN/CI change control for current production
Research, initiate, and execute safety and ergonomic improvement activities and projects
Rigorously execute assembly process audits
Lead the analysis, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies aligned with the Smart Connected Factory strategy
