Requirements

  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customer, and the public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Works and stands 10-12 hours per day
  • Lifts/moves heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year experience and/or training; or Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Work with minimal supervision and work well in a team.
  • Ensure properly documented equipment breakdown/activity reports.
  • Will be able to prioritize task to be done during non-production hours.
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance task are completed on time.
  • Responsible for assigning, collecting, entering and confirmation of PMs in conjunction with the PM Planner.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams supporting activities related to Machine issues.
  • Identify training needs for maintenance technicians. Provide requirements to maintenance supervisors and training department.
  • Provide feedback to maintenance supervisor for performance appraisal documentation. Provide leadership and direction during equipment downtime situations. Team leaders must be able to make good judgment decisions on technical matters and interface effectively with production supervision.
  • Perform other duties as required
