The Assembly Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the assembly process. This role involves starting up and shutting down machines, loading parts, performing quality checks, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. The operator must adhere to safety regulations and company policies while working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

  • Start up and shut down the assigned machine.
  • Set counter to zero.
  • Load parts into machine and assemble parts.
  • Load the hopper with pins.
  • Replace full totes.
  • Perform SPC checks, including visual inspection, gauging and identifying parts that are in or out of specification.
  • Watch for jammed pin hopper and correct jams.
  • Perform housekeeping as required to keep the area clean and organized.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations according to safety and environmental issues.
  • High School Diploma, GED or SC Work Keys will be considered.
  • Must have 6+ months of previous manufacturing experience.
