Assembly Operator positions wages range from $15.36/hour - $16.61/hour depending on experience. This position is for first shift, with work hours from 6:15 a.m. 2:4 p.m. Employees who are hired after April 1, 2025 will be eligible to receive a $500 bonus after 120 days of employment! These are plant-based, in-person positions at our manufacturing facility located at 221 Phil Meador Avenue in Pocatello. It is the responsibility of all employees to uphold the mission of the Amy’s Food Safety and Quality Policy. This includes following all Food Safety and Sustainability programs and participating in all required training.

Requirements

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read simple instructions.
• Ability to complete simple forms.
• Ability to verbally communicate with supervisor.
• Ability to add and subtract numbers.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacture of frozen food products.
• Handle food and equipment safely and follow supervisor’s instructions.
• Follow instructions of the job.
• Work well in a team oriented atmosphere.
• Maintain established standards for line speeds and quality.
• Comply with the rules and regulations set forth in Amy's Kitchen Inc. handbook for employee, the safety manual and GMP booklet.
• Take proper precautions and use all equipment safely.
• Wear personal protective gear as assigned.
• Notify the Line lead or Supervisor of any quality, safety, or mechanical problems.
• Operate depositors correctly maintaining established line speeds and quality of the product.
• Operate additional processing equipment as trained.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform housekeeping procedures as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Teach other co-workers.
• Multi-task worker with knowledge and ability to perform in several different lines.
• Work overtime during peak season or based on company needs.
