About The Position

The 2nd Shift Assembly Line Team Leader in West Point, GA supervises team members and reports directly to the Group Leader. This role is essential in promoting positive team dynamics and demonstrating strong leadership. The Team Leader manages the production process within their designated area to achieve company goals while adhering to the company Vision, Core Values, and Employee Guidebook. Our positions are full-time, year-around employment with paid training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education (2 years of experience equals 1 year of education).
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and management skills.
  • Communicate critical issues promptly and manage conflicts positively.
  • Create a positive work environment and mentor team members.
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to support safe operations, teamwork, and accurate execution of job duties.

  • Assembly experience is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MES software.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in MS Word.

  • Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor work operations and provide necessary direction.
  • Proactively address production obstacles and recommend process improvements.
  • Understand and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Direct and validate training for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and promote departmental goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and support organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Group Leader to resolve conflicts and enforce discipline.
